Lots of people have been asking about the progress on the Tiny House of Steel and since everyone loved our first video so much, here’s part two of our video to get everyone all caught up:
We even took the THOS on the road this October to participate in the 2017 Newburgh Open Studios where hundreds of visitors quizzed us about whether we were making art, a building, or an experiment, the answer to which, obviously, is: YES!! Even my dad came to visit all the way from Prague!
While wrapping up the video, we realized we hardly even got close to where we’re at right now with some of the wiring done;
and some of the loft beds complete;
and an extra awning window that will hopefully keep things nice and breezy:
There’s still so much to look forward to including CubicMini Woodstove,
a new oven (which BARELY fit through the door);
a eventually a sink like this (I’m still searching for a used one so any readers so generous as to help us out, leave us a comment below or hit us up at email@example.com)
AND a composting toilet from these guys in England.
Oh! AND a Honda EU2000i generator with a conversion kit from Hutch Mountain to allow it to run on propane (which REALLY works BTW.)
Phew! Thanks for reading: that’s a lot of catching up we’ve got to do. We’ll have individual posts as these items get installed so stay tuned for more updates very soon!
